Vermont Farmstead Cheese:

Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company began as a community effort to preserve a picturesque 18-acre dairy farm in South Woodstock, Vt in 2009.  Passionate residents raised money to purchase the land, buildings and equipment in hopes that it would remain a dairy farm. With the generous contributions and tireless efforts of an entire community, our dream was realized and Vermont Farmstead became the first community-owned artisan cheese and dairy facility in the state. We are proud to sell their incredible product and have them as a part of our village!

Top Acres Farm

We source our Maple Syrup from several local farms and sugar houses. Among our favorites is Top Acres Farm, originally founded in the 1850's and now operated by Mary and Carl McCuaig, the farm is situated just minutes from the Country Store and produces more than 2000 gallons of syrup each year. Mary and Carl have also installed Solar Panels that power the farms operations and contribute to South Woodstock's sustainability.
